INTRUSIVE & NON-INTRUSIVE PIG SIGNALS
We offer a number of different options for intrusive (in the line) and non-intrusive (strapped to the line) pig signals. Non-intrusive pig signals work with either a magnetic or electroganetic signal depending on your preference. Intrusive pig signals have a switch in the line that will set off a signal once a pig hits it (bidirectional available).
NON-INTRUSIVE PIG SIGNALS
CDI
SPY
With thousands of systems sold around the world over the past 15 years, the CD52 pig signaler has developed a strong reputation in the industry for its reliability and durability in even the harshest environments.
A relay closure on passage allows the Bandit to be interfaced to a wide variety of systems including SCADA, PLC's, lights, horns, etc.
The PTS sensor unit is housed in a Class I, Division I, Groups B, C & D hazardous area inclosure with an o-ring threaded cover for a water tight seal. Two one-inch threaded hubs are located on opposite ends of the enclosure for attaching rigid conduit. The circuitry is encapsulated for further protection and safety.
INLINE SERVICES
SUN MAGNA-SYGG
The MAGNA-SYGG from S.U.N. Engineering, Inc. is truly a non-intrusive pipeline pig detector. Simple and rugged, it can be strapped to the surface of a pipe or it can be used as a portable pig passage indicator. You do not have to shut down the pipeline and wait for an expensive crew to install special fittings – the MAGNA-SYGG pig detector is ready to go to work.
PIGS UNLIMITED
Crafted with aircraft grade aluminum, our new Pig Detectors are designed with simplicity, cost-effectiveness and ease of use in mind.
-Capable of detecting both industry standard ELF (16Hz - 30Hz) transmitters as well as
magnets with ultra-high noise immunity.
- Non-Intrusive
- Portable
- High brightness LED's (Visible in direct sunlight)
- Cost effective replacement to Mechanical Detectors
INTRUSIVE PIG SIGNALS
APACHE
The patented Apache Indicator is designed to accurately detect the passage of a pipeline cleaner traveling within a pipeline system.
It is considered an intrusive model as the plunger actually penetrates the pipe bore.
The intruding plunger is actuated by the passage of pipeline cleaner thereby activating either a visual or electrical indicator, or a combination of both.
ENDURO PIG POPPER
TDW
TDW’s PIG-SIG® Indicator is a device installed at prescribed intervals on pipelines to detect the passage of a pig or sphere.
GIRARD HI-T PIG ALERT
The Hi-T Pigalert is a bi-directional intrusive devices attached to the pipeline via a Weld-on Base or Flange and available up to ANSI 2500 (6170 psi). A trigger protrudes slightly into the line enough to come into contact with a pig or sphere, but have little to no effect on flow.
All models are set with line specific trigger lengths, but can be easily set to suit varying thicknesses of pipeline of any diameter on site. Upon the pig or sphere striking the trigger the Hi-T signals the user the pig has crossed the point via a mechanically operated signal flag, electrical auto resetting switch or both.
